About Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS), Delhi

Army College of Medical Sciences admission 2023-24 to medical courses like MBBS and BDS shall be conducted based on NEET scores. The NEET result 2023 has been announced by NTA on June 13, 2023. Candidates seeking admission to the courses offered by ACMS Delhi have to ensure that they score marks over and above the ACMS Delhi NEET cut-off 2023. The cutoff marks vary course and category-wise. Hence, students shall check the NEET qualifying cut off for Army College of Medical Sciences admissions. The GGSIPU conducts its registration and counselling rounds to allot seats to MBBS students in various medical colleges. NEET-UG

  • As the first step in the admission process for the Army College of Medical Sciences, aspiring candidates must register themselves for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for undergraduate courses (NEET-UG).
  • This can be done by visiting the official website neet.nta.ac.in. Students are required to register themselves for the NEET UG exam on this website by entering the required details. The NEET exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) each year. 
  • For the ACMS admission 2023, students must register for and subsequently appear for the NEET UG exam.
  • The NEET UG was conducted on July 17, 2022, this year and the results were announced by the NTA on September 7, 2022. 

Registration for GGSIPU Counselling

  • As the next part of the admission process, candidates must ensure that they register themselves on the official website of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGISPU).

  • Students should then register themselves on the website by entering the required information and paying the requisite fee of Rs 1200 and Rs 1000 for enrollment and participation in the GGSIPU Counselling/Allotment of seats respectively. 
  • The details for the seat allotment and the counselling schedule for various rounds will be published on the GGSIPU website from time to time for the Army College of Medical Sciences admission procedure. 
  • The GGSIPU allots seats to candidates based on the NEET scores and releases various merit lists in a round-wise manner.

Registration on the ACMS Official Website 

  • Apart from this, students are also required to fill out the admission form on the official website of ACMS Delhi which is theacms.in.
  • Applicants must fill in all details correctly and the details which are marked as mandatory must be filled in to avoid cancellation of the application.
  • Once the ACMS admission form 2023 is filled, the next step includes scanning all documents and making their soft copy. This must be done with a good-quality camera for clear images, or else the submission will be rejected. Upload the documents with the online registration form through a laptop or mobile device.

  • Photocopy of the NEET-UG admit card.
  • Admission receipt. This will be generated by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGISPU) at the time of registration and counselling.

The Army College of Medical Sciences campus is located in Brar Square, Delhi Cantonment, New Delhi. The campus is strategically located near the Ring Road of New Delhi and is easily accessible through the newly constructed Delhi Cantt metro station. The ACMS admission 2023 will be based on the scores obtained in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for undergraduate courses (NEET-UG).The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year. Students aspiring to secure a seat in the ACMS admission must prepare well and score well in the NEET UG exam. 

While the NEET results are being released, the aspiring candidates must also register themselves on the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGISPU). It is the conducting body for the counselling and seat allotment process of ACMS Delhi. Students must also complete the ACMS registration 2023 through the official website of the college.

The eligibility criteria considered for seat confirmation apart from the NEET exam and GGSIPU Counselling is mentioned below:

  • The candidate should have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission.
  • Must have passed Class 12 under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (ISC) or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
  • As the next ACMS admission criteria, candidates must have English, Physics, Chemistry, and, Biology as compulsory subjects.

  • For the ACMS admission 2023, the minimum aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and, Biology are 60% for the General category. For the SC/ST categories, the minimum required marks are 50%.

For admission to the MBBS course at the Army College of Medical Sciences Delhi, a valid NEET UG 2023 score is necessary. The NEET cut off marks differ for various student categories (GEN, EWS, SC, ST, OBC, etc.). The 458 marks is a good NEET score if you belong to an OBC category. Admission to Army College of Medical Sciences Delhi is possible with this score, if you belong to this category. The score range accepted is 400-550 for OBC category students. For the General category the NEET score required for Army College of Medical Sciences MBBS admissions is 650-720. It is considered a good score for MBBS admission.

Admission to the Army College of Medical Sciences, located in Delhi is offered on the basis of the NEET exam marks. To secure admission you have to meet the cut off criteria and also go through the counselling process. The cut off differs on the basis of the different student categories. The NEET cut off percentile required for admission at ACMS Delhi is 50 (720-137 marks) for UR/ EWS, 40 (136-107 marks) for OBC/ SC/ ST, 45 (136-121 marks) for UR/ EWS PH, 40 (120-107 marks) for OBC/ SC PH and 40 (120-108 marks) for ST PH.

The MBBS admission is based on the GGSIPU Counselling which is based on the NEET UG scores. The NEET UG 2023 Result was declared recently on June 13, 2023. Army College of Medical Sciences accepts MBBS admission through GGSIPU Counselling process and the admission form for MBBS has been released on the official website ipu.ac.in.
